Our community is home to many heroes who have served our country and protected our community. This year, we’re proud to be working with the Montrose American Legion to launch the Montrose Hometown Hero Banner Program.
This program honors local heroes who have served in the military or as first responders. Banners will be displayed throughout Montrose from late spring around Memorial Day through late fall around Veterans Day, weather permitting.
There are limited banner spaces available and they will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications must be received by April 15, 2026, or when all spaces have been filled.
Applications are available in-store at Acorn & Company, or you may download the program details and application materials from the photos. Please read through all photos for complete program information. If you only have a printed photo of the honoree, you may bring it to Acorn & Company where it can be professionally scanned and returned to you. Please do not take a photo of a printed photograph and submit it, as it significantly reduces image quality.
How To Order
You may order your banner online or in person. All orders require a completed application. Applications may be downloaded and printed from this page or picked up at Acorn & Company, and must be returned to the store once completed.
These banners will not be returned, as they will be rotated from year to year. Additional keepsakes are available if requested.
